St Valentine’s Day!

Every February 14, tokens of sweetness and love are exchanged in the name of St. Valentine. There are over 120 varieties of roses available on the cut flower market today. During this holiday, rose farms must produce 20 times the amount compared to a normal week to meet demand. Most of the world’s roses are grown in sunny South America and other farms located in California and the Netherlands. Each color of a rose expresses a different meaning.

Red – Love & Romance

White – Purity and Peace

Pink – Sweetness & Elegance

Orange – Desire

Yellow – Friendship

Peach – Appreciation
